This project aims to study in depth a little-known literary life: the writings of writers and journalists. The writers were in fact bound up with the mainstream press since the appearance thereof. Two milestones punctuate their relationship: the series and the rise of literary and satirical bodies since the 1830s on the one hand, the appearance of the big story in the late nineteenth century on the other hand. The latter sees new faces emerge in Letters: the writer-journalist, host of the literary life, and the reporter, whose qualities of language and style are replacing news agency under the mediation between the event and readers. Researchers involved: Aron Paul, Valerie Nahon, Clara Edouard Collaboration with Isabelle Meuret and Gregory Escoufflaire (UR10)
